Where Candidates Should Assemble
Candidates for all degrees should report to the Auxiliary Gym of the Adler Athletic Complex no later than 10:00 a.m.
Securing Valuables
Candidates for degrees should have parents or guests take any valuables—purses, cameras, etc.—before moving to the assembly area.
Latecomer Guest Seating
Please plan to arrive at least thirty minutes before the commencement procession begins as the parking lots become congested. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the ushers.
Caps and Gowns
Students participating in the academic procession and ceremony must wear caps and gowns. Caps and gowns may be purchased at the Penn State Bookstore on campus. For more information, call 814-949-5121.
Diplomas
Diplomas will not be issued at the commencement ceremony. All candidates for graduation received verification letters from the University Registrar showing how their names will appear on their diplomas. If the name is incorrect, students should file a request for a name change immediately. Students should expect to have their diplomas mailed to them in late May for spring commencements and in late January for fall commencements.
